Moving on

I have recently moved on to the South Island of New Zealand.
Way different from the North Island, yet breathtakingly beautiful as well:

Island Hills Station, Hurunui District.
Once again my financial resources have been running low, so I took the opportunity I have been offered:
Doing the tractor work for a 8000 hectare farm!
(That's almost 70 square Kilometers!)

A masterpiece of Japanese engineering: 1996 Toyota Hilux, Old and well used. but full of character!
(Not my own, just get to drive it almost every day! ;))

Here it is, the beast that fills my bank account

Our "backyard".
My share of white Christmas I guess... Still more than i would get in Germany though!

That is the view I may wake up to every morning! And yes, it is actual frost  we had at the house that morning!

The City of Kaikoura, struck by an earthquake of almost 8 on the Richter scale,
recovered really quick though and is as beautiful as ever!

Back at the farm, Another snowy day!

Gorgeous sunrise in the mountains! I'm truly blessed to live right here!
And once again I have been able to find myself a fantastic old school ride!
This time actually suitable for traveling! ;)

It's a 1974 Morris Marina 1.8 Estate, A piece of British automobile history!
