Here we go! I made it back to the coast, the Gold Coast that is.
I'm enjoying my holiday as much as I can and just happen to take a closer look at the local birdlife.
Enjoy! :)

Here we have a Rainbow Lorikeet, feeding on the nectar of a Bottlebrush flower |
Another Rainbow Lorikeet |
A Type of Honeyeater |
A Laughing Kookaburra, looking out for prey. |
Fascinating birds in many ways... |
A freshly hatched Masked Lapwing chick... |
...and it's concerned mother. |
A Magpie-Lark fighting a piece of string. |
Some native ducks I can't identify any further |
A Willie Wagtail landing on a fence post. |
A fluffy rooster... |
And my latest acquirement, a 1974 Ford Falcon 500 XB, the third Ford I owned, the third station wagon and the coincidentally the third car I own that is built in 1974. Oh well, three times a charm they, say! |
And it's mighty powerplant, the infamous 351 Cleveland. 5.8 liter V8, a proper muscle car! |
