Level 3

The government has eased restrictions a little and I have been able to move places. And I've landed in the middle of the most impressive native bush I've ever seen on a private property.
So, less talk, more pictures!

Mt Tangihua in sunset

Moonrise

I never took any pictures of the moon before and am stoked about how they turned out, despite not bringing my tripod.

Kahikatea fruit and seed.

New Zealand's tallest native tree. Specimen up to 80m tall were recorded before extensive logging eradicated most of the taller trees.

A Five Finger growing within a large Toatara.

I've never seen something like that with two different species.

Coral Tree flower, also know as Flame Tree. Not to be confused with the Australian Flame Tree.

Common Brushtail Possum, hiding in a tree fern.

Nikau Palm

Spider web

Tree Fern Leave.

Very Large Cabbage tree

Parasol Mushroom

Another Possum.

Despite their cute appearance they are very destructive and do a lot of damage to the native flora.

Odd coloration in the water, above and below the picture frame the water was completely clear.

Another spider wed

Same Mushroom as before, this time in the sunlight.
