Due to suggestions that had been made I've finally decided to give my hobby, photography, a chance to return some profit. So I've done the easiest thing I could do to 'promote' my pictures, which is setting up a profile with a stock photography website:

Admittedly, I have absolutely no idea about stock photography, but nonetheless I'm proud of my achievement. Being accepted as a contributor and having my pictures judged by professionals is an honor.
Anyways, I'm back in the Wairarapa, which will, with a bit of luck, be my home for the next wee while. Here's a few shots from the recent past!
As it seems Blogger has yet again updated their interface, and I can no longer add titles to pictures. So let's see how good my formatting skills are.
The Tui was back, and so was camera!
And here we are: Finally some good pictures of Kereru, the New Zealand Wood pigeon!
A very well-fed one, too!
And a little bumblebee
Utterly brilliant colours!
Whilst this is not a particularly good photo, it does show that even Tuis have 'bad hair days'. Or is it 'bad plumage'?
New Zealand's DOC has come up with some new signs that no longer need translation!
Kohwai Flowers, leaves and seed pods. One of New Zealand's most beautiful plants!
A male Pheasant
And his girlfriend
Finally, a Fantail with it's tail spread out!
The Tararuas, once again covered with snow!
If the lore of older locals can be trusted, they used to be covered with snow all winter long, but lately it's become an event that only lasts for a few hours at a time...
