Australia

It's been quite a long time that I have left the shores of New Zealand and moved on to the scorched chunk of earth they call Australia.
I never fancied the idea of moving here and I must confess it hasn't been the smoothest arrival.
However, it seems as if everything has worked out at last.
I'm well alive, I found a suitable vehicle, I met people whose company I enjoy and I'm full of hope  in terms of finding employment in the near future.

Now you may wonder why you can't find the sun or blue skies in the following pictures, although they've all been taken in the country of eternal sunburn.
Well, the answer is simple:
It is just to hot to go outside when the sun is shining.
A Pelican

A Cormorant of some sort

A Wallaby

A Cicada emerging from it's shell

I never knew Alpacas had blue eyes!

An Echidna, one of the two egg-laying mammals, the other one would be the well known platypus.

A Waterdragon

Ellenborough Falls, Supposedly one of the highest single drop waterfall in the southern hemisphere at 160m.

A Laughing Kookaburra with a lizard in it's beak

Eastern Grey Kangaroo

And here's my new car: 1991 Subaru Liberty GX, couldn't quite resist the idea of buying something a bit older! :D
