East coast

As suspected, no one cares about the man behind the camera...
Anyways, I'm still residing at the east coast just south of Brisbane and I'm enjoying my free time to the best of my ability.
Despite the mind numbing summer heat approaching fast I still had some time to visit the local attractions, such as Noosa, North Stradbroke island and Springbrook.
And finally, finally I begin to slowly comprehend why some people say that Australia is beautiful, why some people decide to reside here and defy the excruciating heat, the murderous wildlife, the racism and ignorance of the locals and all the other, say, unfortunate aspects Australia is known for...

The Beach at the Great Sandy National Park, just north of Teewah. Being a public road the beach can become rather busy. Here we see participants of the `Pink Ribbon Rally`raising awareness and funds for the treatment of breast cancer.
Go Pink Ribbon!

Looking south towards Noosa Heads. The entire beach spans over 50km!
