Back at last

Here I am, back in the most beautiful country in the world. Overwhelmed with joy and excitement and looking forward to what quite possibly could be the best summer yet!
Anyways, I've been in the country for 4 weeks now, and ridiculously busy visiting old friends and making new ones, soaking up as much of the scenery as I can and giving my camera a good workout.
So here we go: Not one, not two, but Twenty three pictures!
Enjoy!

Here's a couple more Cockatoos I found found on my camera.

Mount Taranaki, almost feels like home!

And here's my new wheels: A 1989 Mazda Mx5. One of the finest sports cars ever built, in any price bracket that is.

Not my favourite colour, but overall a rather tidy example. Although I only had it for 3 weeks I'm absolutely in love with it!

And here we start with more random pictures. Had the rare opportunity to watch a donkey at work.

Bottle fed calves, lovely at times, a pain at others.

A Dorset Horn Ram, endangered British breed of sheep, and the only British breed capable of breeding throughout winter.

Dorset Horn Ewe

Miniature Zebu bull

Quite a good looking fella, this one!

Driftwood art, spotted in the independent Republic of Whangamomona

I'm slowly getting more comfortable with the 'manual' setting on my camera. The neighbor spreading lime by air is a welcoming training object, however, the biting dust in everybody's lungs was somewhat less welcoming...

Flock of geese and gosling

Waipu Goat, a New Zealand variety of Angora goat. Very handsome and very soft hair.

Ford Transit Mk.1

Mt. Damper Falls, 74m drop. 4th highest on the North Island.

Tree fern leaf. I forgot how much taller they here than in Australia.

Waireinga / Bridal Veil Falls, near Raglan NZ. 55m drop

Native rain Forest. Sadly only a handful of small patches left off what once covered New Zealand in it's entirety.
