Hello!

So contrary to what some of you may think I still dwell amongst the living.
Despite excruciating heat i survived the Australian summer and at the same time managed to fill my pockets a little bit. Hence my lack of activity in the recent months.
However, I took a small vacation and will hopefully get behind the camera a little more often in the near future.
Here we have a Galah

MacKenzie Falls, Grampians National Park

A Long-billed Corella

A so called Sun Dog, an atmospheric phenomenon caused by the refraction of  sunlight by ice crystals in the atmosphere.
Apparently they are quite common, but it sure is the first one i saw!

And a couple of  "Cockies" as they are lovingly called by some locals; others however are not so fund of what is sometimes considered an agricultural pest
