:)

I have quite a bit of leisure time lately, so here's a few more shots!

Flowering Artichoke

Smiling Duck

Cherry Tomatoes

Mating bugs, Couldn't be bothered to find out what exactly they are... :D

Grasshopper

Squash blossoms

Bees being busy

Cucumber blossoms

Caper bush blossom

Sadly not a great shot, but this stick insect measured about 15cm

Saunders' Case Moth in it's cocoon

The females grow no wings and never leave their case. When threatened they seal the entrance and stay motionless until the danger has passed.

Males do grow wing but only leave their case to find a female to mate.

Another scaled visitor we had in our herb garden the other day: An Eastern Brown Snake.

Considered the world's second-most venomous snake, they're responsible for about 60% of lethal snakebites in Australia.
Luckily, like most snakes, they are rather shy and avoid confrontation when possible.
